In 2000, St. Bernard Software broadened its security expertise by acquiring a hotfix and security pack management product, which eventually became UpdateEXPERT. In the same year, St. Bernard bought Internet Products Inc., an Internet filtering company with an appliance-based solution called iPrism. These investments combined to provide support for the company's focus on security solutions.
